I find the "recommendations" really interesting . . . particularly because the doctors I know follow them with the caveat that they don't really agree that they are the best method - for instance, with VBAC, my doctors have all said that they will be happy to help me have a VBA2C. But two said they won't do it unless the guidelines are reversed (which they think will probably happen because of the extremeism of the whole thing - VBAC everyone, don't VBAC anyone, VBAC only after one c-section . . . we're about due for a switch up again).
I'm not sure how I feel about homebirth though. It is certainly an option, but I would need to be 100% certain that there aren't any complications like I had with WIll or Paige before I did it. Hard to think that they both wouldn't be here if it weren't for modern medicine.
